Job Description Seeking a BE/BC Cornea Specialist to join our Department of Ophthalmology in western West Virginia. Highlights: - Full-time, hospital employed position - Great hybrid practice with benefits of an academic affiliation - High demand for Cornea Specialist Ophthalmologist in the area - Permanent laser suite with Alcon Wave-Light EX500 and Femtosecond FS200 - Two outpatient surgery centers - Level 11 Trauma Center - Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents/fellows on campus working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care - Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training - Visa candidates welcome Compensation/Benefits: - Guaranteed base salary range of $300k-$350k - Productivity bonus - CME allowance - Signing bonus - Relocation reimbursement - Generous benefits package - Moving expenses - Multiple options for retirement planning - Retirement savings account with employer matching - Employer paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance - Educational stipend available Community: This riverside community offers an appealing mix of small-city affordability and cultural energy, anchored by a major university that brings arts, athletics, and a youthful vibrancy to the area.
