Job Description:
Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Be Able to
Obtain: None Job Family: Software Development The Technical Manager
will plan and coordinate all activities associated software
development and/or engineering projects in an Agile delivery model
for a large enterprise wide EMR deployment. Project will focus on
Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and Reporting, Interface
development and Release Management. The Technical Manger will
ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality
standards. Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and
evaluation of assigned staff. Job Description Manages software
development or engineering directly or through subordinate managers
and offers leadership, coaching, and training. Acts as advisor to
subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements;
may have budget responsibilities. Schedules staff to obtain proper
response in a timely manner. Reviews and prioritizes needs and
analyzes project costs and feasibility.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Information
Systems, or Healthcare related field, Masters Degree in healthcare
preferred Experience with electronic health record systems; Cerner
Experience building healthcare interfaces (HIEs, EMRs, ancillary
systems) 5 years of experience supporting large Federal Healthcare
systems 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare
environment 5 years of progressive experience in managing
application systems support teams in a distributed computing
environment with an emphasis on project management Experience
managing multiple concurrent projects with success in meeting
budget, timeline, and quality expectations Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills. Very
organized and methodical. Ability to prepare budgets and provide
productivity assessments. Ability to operate calmly under stressful
conditions. Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with
customers, partners and peers. Effectively develop and monitor high
performing teams. Ability to use logical and analytical thinking to
interpret technical data and solve a broad range of problems. Able
to collect and interpret data related to program operating and
