UniFirst Corporation, a leader in the provision of workplace uniforms and protective wear, is seeking a motivated and skilled Route Service Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the operations of our route service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery and streamlined operations across North America. The ideal candidate will be someone passionate about leading a team to success, driving customer satisfaction, and optimizing operational efficiency within our service routes. Manage and oversee the daily operations of route service personnel to meet or exceed customer service expectations and company standards. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of route operations, including route optimization and driver training programs. Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and service retention. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to enhance team productivity and personal development. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with sales and management teams to align route services with overall business objectives. Monitor and manage the budget for route operations, including fleet maintenance and labor costs. Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in route planning and logistics management Ability to analyze data and use it to inform operational decisions Experience with customer service and conflict resolution Adaptability and capacity to manage high-stress situations Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Preferred: Certification in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management
