Job Description:

a Catering Services Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to
work in dynamic environments such as institutions, universities,
schools, and hospitals. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering
high-quality dining experiences tailored to unique client needs,
ensuring that every guest feels valued and taken care of. Prepare
banquet rooms and dining areas for events according to client
specifications, including the setup of tableware and decorative
items. Assist in the preparation of foods such as cutting
vegetables, preparing salads, and plating dishes. Serve meals to
guests with a courteous and professional demeanor, and ensure that
all patrons receive quality service. Maintain cleanliness and
sanitation standards in all work areas including tables, tools, and
kitchen equipment. Coordinate with the kitchen staff and management
to handle last-minute changes to catering orders or setups. Pack,
transport, and unload food, equipment, and other necessary items
for off-site catering. Attend and participate in team meetings and
training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service
protocols. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
work flexibly in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food
safety and handling procedures Competent in using kitchen equipment
and utensils Excellent organizational skills and attention to
detail Food Handler's Certificate preferred Certification in
hospitality or event management is a plus but not mandatory
