Job Description:
Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Anesthesiologist near WHITMAN,
WV MDStaff is actively recruiting skilled General Anesthesiologists
for a rewarding locum tenens position near Whitman, WV. This
position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic

The locum tenens assignment is set to begin on February 28th, 2024,
following a 90-day credentialing period. Quick Facts: Job ID :
j-190152 Specialty: General Anesthesiology Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Indefinitely Shift Details: 3 FTEs with rotating
night and weekend call Schedule: 0700 until cases are completed for
the day. (Physicians are incrementally released as cases are
completed, with assigned call physicians managing the surgical
schedule.) Work Details: Amount of Coverage Needed Per Month: 2
non-cardiothoracic anesthesiologists daily per month. Patients Per
Day: Varies per site. Patient Population/Age: Adults Department
Description: Incremental release of physicians as cases are
completed throughout the day. Full spectrum of surgical procedures,
with Kidney transplant procedures being the only transplant type.
EMR: EPIC Hospital Bed Size: Varies per site. Special Procedures:
Full spectrum of surgical procedures. The only transplant
procedures performed are Kidney. (No liver, heart, etc.) Practice
Setting: Hospital Requirements: Board Certification: Required State
License Required: WV DEA: Required CSR: Required Certifications
Required: ABA, ACLS, BLS Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
