Oligohydramnios Special Procedures/Unit Details : We are a small
LDRP unit is rural West Virginia. We offer level 1 perinatal and
nursery services. The unit is staffed w/ 2 RNs per 12-hour shift to
meet minimal staffing recommendations per AWHONN. Staffing is
flexed up as needed to accommodate increase census and and acuity
needs. We consult w/ WVU Medicine for High Risk referral needs and
transfer care when a higher level of care is indicated. We have 1
board certified OB/GYN for our obstetrical services and 1
pediatrician and 2 family practice physicians for our nursery
services. We provide antenatal testing, antenatal observation care,
labor & delivery services, postpartum, newborn and gynecological
postoperative care within our department. We are averaging
approximately 13 deliveries per month and see approximately 110
patients per month for antenatal testing. Anesthesia and OR staff
are on call 24/7. They do not remain in house unless indicated by
maternal/fetal status. CRNAs provider all anesthesia care within

Any previous probationary actions on license will be considered on
case-by-case basis. Perm employees CANNOT RETURN AS TRAVELERS FOR 2
YEARS AFTER LAST DATE WORKED PERM. Current Vandalia Health System
employees: please note, if candidate is currently employed at any
