Job Description:
Summary: An experienced Nurse in Medsurg, Telemetry, and
Intermediate Care settings practices independently, providing
routine and complex patient care aligned with treatment plans.
Demonstrates critical thinking, effective communication, and
delegation skills while managing patient assessments, medication
administration, and education. Ensures safety, documentation
accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Utilizes the
nursing process for care planning, implementation, and evaluation,
addressing diverse patient needs. Coordinates patient flow, unit
operations, and quality improvement initiatives. Requires a BSN
(preferred), minimum 2 years (5 preferred) in relevant units, RN
licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (for Children's Hospital). Work
schedule is 7PM-7AM, full-time.
