Job Description:
Job Description Primary Responsibilities Serves as Principal
Investigator or Co- Investigator on research projects related to
cardiovascular disease, aging, obesity diabetes, and chronic kidney
disease. Develop and maintain a robust, independently funded
research program in mechanistic translational, or population-based
cardiovascular science. Lead and contribute NIH R01 and other major
grant applications. Disseminate research findings through
peer-reviewed journals and scientific meetings. Foster
collaboration with clinical and basic science faculty across
disciplines. Mentor medical residents, graduate residents, and
postdoctoral fellows. Pursue and maintain external funding from NIH
, AHA , CDC , and other agencies. Engage in limited teaching
responsibilities as appropriate.
