The responsibility ensures that BV Construction staff timesheets are timely, completed in an accurate manner and are in compliance with all company, HR and Payroll related policies and procedures. This position serves as a trusted business advisor to professionals, Business Enablement and management related to staff timesheet issues and programs. Works under close supervision.Key Responsibilities Helps to ensure the smooth functioning of timesheet administration procedures.Duties require accuracy, good judgment, high degree of initiative and professionalism, discretion, diplomacy, and implementation of protocol.Anticipates changing priorities and problems. Assists with timesheet system and procedure training which includes personal timesheet submittals, Staff List setup and maintenance along with the reviewing and approvals of timesheets. Liaison to Corporate Payroll, Department Heads, Project Manager, leaders and ETS coordinators on a variety of timesheet matters such as assistance with tracking, reviewing and adjustments of timesheets. Serves as specialist having procedure and technical knowledge. Ensure weekly timesheet compliance for construction staff, union and non-union. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, payroll and HR requirements Validate/audit construction staff timesheets. Coordinates with key stakeholders on procedure and system reviews and updates. Supports and answers inquiries as designated from professionals, supervisors, project teams and the Payroll/Timekeeping general inquiry mailbox. Generates and provides various staff timekeeping reports (system provided and ad-hoc) and queries to management as required/requested. Troubleshoots/Reconciles various general timesheet errors, warnings and exceptions. Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement. Performs additional duties/assignments as requested such as assisting with craft timekeeping and payroll process. Work with various teams as needed for special projects. Ensure deadlines are met, accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures and timesheet requirements. Organizes, develops, and performs training as needed, including input to the development of procedures and user desk instructions,including facilitating the maintenance and distribution of training materials and other documentation related to department/procedures. Collaborate with other functions/departments across the company as required.Management ResponsibilitiesIndividual ContributorPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent. / Associate's diploma in business related field or equivalent experience preferred.3+ years relevant experience with some related open shop and/or union experience preferred. Intermediate spreadsheet skills and intermediate word processing skills needed.
