Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a SAS Programmer
Analyst .This will be a remote role.
We are seeking a SAS Programmer Analyst to assist in the review and
analysis of algorithms coded in SAS to determine that the code is
correctly applying pre-defined business rules/logic. This position
requires prior working knowledge of and proficiency in SAS and
experience as a business analyst.
- Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of business
rules and logic
- Evaluation of existing SAS code to determine that the code is
written correctly to produce the required business result
- Logging the results of the code review
- Minimum of 2 years of SAS coding experience including the
ability to write, evaluate, and troubleshoot SAS programs.
- Experience implementing business rules and selection criteria
using the SAS DATA step
- Experience with SAS PROC functionality
- Experience with SAS MACRO language
- A Minimum of 2 years experience reviewing and implementing
business rules and logic
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline focused
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error
messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problem s.
