The employee will work full time in an office in a designated WesBanco location. Consideration for location will be at the Jackson Administration Office in Jackson, OH. Market Columbus Work Hours per Week 37.5 Requirements Currently attending college or university in the field of Business or similar required.Coursework completed in these fields a plus.Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks. Job Description The WesBanco Insurance Services Intern will learn key foundational banking and insurance concepts to improve his/her banking, insurance, sales, and management skills in a rotational program through various retail functional areas. Develops skills by performing a variety of tasks while gaining knowledge and experience needed for placement into a regular position after successful completion of the program. Responsibilities exist in areas such as Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Employee Benefits. Essential FunctionBanking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Certificates, Licenses & RegistrationsThis internship will provide the option to sit for State Life & Health exam. Study materials will be provided by Bank for exam prep during internship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develops and maintains knowledge of Bank products, Insurance products, services, policies and guidelines.Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues.Assists management team with execution of day-to-day operations of assigned business unit.Completes tasks and assigned projects according to established completion dates.Acts as a resource for customer, business and operational issues while exercising discretion and sound judgement.Provides exemplary customer service in person, by email or by telephone, as defined by Bank pledges.Attends and completes all required training by assigned completion date.Supports Bank's CRA initiatives through active community involvement.
