  • Registered Nurse - 5S Trauma Stepdown (IMC/PCU)
  • Shift: Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
  • Floor Beds: 25, Step-Down Beds: 6, Pediatric Beds: 6
  • Ideal candidates: Background in PCU, IMC, Trauma, SDU
  • Travelers may be utilized for floor beds only - to be discussed at interview
  • Ratios: Floor RN 1:5, SDU 1:3
  • Orientation/Start Dates held every other week on Thursday
  • Travelers may not be required to see the Pediatric patients
  • Unit might use traveler for floor beds only - discussed at interview
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 Years of RN Experience Required
    • 1 Year in-specialty Experience required
    • 1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU/Trauma
    • BLS, ACLS, Fit Test, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), TNCC preferred
    • Skill Requirements: IV Start, Vents, Telemetry, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Conscious Sedation
    • Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs
    • Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests
    • WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
    • 36hrs guaranteed
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a
      • Weekdays, every other weekend required
      • Float as needed
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 5S Trauma Stepdown (IMC/PCU)
        • 25 Floor Beds, 6 Step-Down Beds, 6 Pediatric Beds
        • Multidisciplinary team approach for care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients
