phlebotomists on their team, in all aspects of their job, to ensure
all specimens are collected correctly based on test
requirements.
Coordinates breaks to ensure adequate coverage for respective
areas.
Assists in evaluations and yearly competencies for all
phlebotomists.
Works with other lead phlebotomists to assist with scheduling.
Functions as one of the department's primary contacts with
patients. -
Brings all concerns and prospective issues immediately to the lab
director.Essential Functions:Manages phlebotomists on their team,

Education
Completion of a Phlebotomy course or equivalent training/experience
RequiredRequired Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 daysRequired
Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a
stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required
Licenses

Phlebotomy licensure or equivalent experienceMinimum Work
Experience
Formal phlebotomy training and/or certification through an
accrediting agency such as the International Academy of Phlebotomy
