Maintains appropriate files, supplies and equipment.Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician delivery of care and servicesMaintains appropriate supplies and a clean and orderly work area. Notifies supervisor of needed itemsMaintains equipment to ensure accuracy and longevityProvides age appropriate care to all patientsActs as a physician/staff consultant and educational resource for appropriateness and accuracy of scansReports to: Ultrasound SupervisorMinimum EducationGraduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Required Licenses[West Virginia, United States] Other
Certification from DMS program or AART with WV license.
