SMX is seeking a **Senior Training Lead Subject Matter Expert on a
large Task Order** . The Senior Training Lead SME will join the
integrated program management office (PMO) in a leadership position
supporting Intelligence projects and will serve as a liaison with
the government points of contact as directed by the Task Order
Program Manager (TOPM). The Senior SME will support the TOPM for
evaluating and assessing DoD training programs for ISR-related
tasks, in all phases of the training lifecycle through design,
development, and execution. The ideal candidate will provide
leadership, executive communication, and technical expertise to the
program team. Remote but must live on the east coast of the
Continental United States.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Coordinates priorities and resources between multiple
projects
+ Allocates appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed
within given time and budget
+ Utilizes corporate processes to track program/project schedule
and cost
+ Supports the TOPM with reports status, project-related
documentation, lessons learned and updates and maintains production
and quality metrics for assigned program and projects
+ Identifies and shapes prime and subcontract opportunities with
customers in current and emerging markets
+ Researches, evaluates, and recommends training programs,
strategy, integration, and implementation solutions of a
multi-faceted program that requires collaboration with customers to
identify new project requirements
+ Ensures that contract service, quality, and performance
requirements are met and compliance with standard operating
procedures (SOP) is maintained
+ Advises the TOPM of any contractual issues that may need
attention or resolution with the contracting office
+ Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with
the Government's and FEDSIM's Technical Points of Contact
(TPOC)
+ Works cooperatively with the TOPM in developing short- and
long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in
accordance with contract parameters
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
+ Required clearance: Top Secret
+ Ability to obtain SCI
+ Demonstrates excellent communication skills
+ Demonstrates the full range of knowledge on DoD training to
include requirements gathering, training program of Instruction
(POI), implementation of training, and resource management
+ Demonstrable success in government project and/or personnel
management (DoD preferred) through prior work experience in a
customer-facing role
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project
+ Ability to use and collaborate in broader Microsoft Office 365
programs and other relevant technology applications
**Required Experience**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience leading DoD training programs
for the design, development, and execution of training programs
+ Desired Experience: A minimum of three years of experience
working at or above the DoD Combatant or Joint Command Level
+ Desired Experience: Five years of experience with the development
of specific intelligence (SIGINT, ELINT, HUMINT, GEOINT,
All-Source) training courses based on organizational
requirements
**Education & Certifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, computer
science, information technology, business, or a related
discipline
+ Desired: US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Training
Developer Middle Manager Course graduate or equivalent training
development credential
