**Job Summary**The Security Consultant - Operations will serve as a technical resource supporting and delivering practice focused solutions to our customers. The Security Consultant - Operations will help clients gain insight and context to their complex operating environments and provide services and technology to assess, improve, and build infrastructure, processes and policies in order to meet the client's security operation's needs.This role will reports to the Director of Enterprise Security Architecture within the Stratascale department.This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.**About Us**Stratascale, an SHI company, brings together the benefits of 31 years' experience delivering the very best technologies with a fresh consultative approach to designing, delivering and supporting the technology our customers need to transform their business. We call it Digital Agility.To learn more about Stratascale visit our website: https://stratascale.com/**Responsibilities**Includes but not limited to:+ Provide technical assistance in managing on practice operations including product and services+ Proactively identify customer needs and requirements through data, customer engagement and other methods to recommend appropriate solutions and services opportunities+ Support competitive selling motions and guidance to field and team+ Engage with internal sales and technical teams to support solution sales cycle, qualify opportunities, close open pipeline, scope and ensure successful solution delivery+ Stay educated on new product technology, tangential team capabilities, and other specific offerings or programs emerging within our company and within the practice industry+ Assist in delivering projects by creating deliverables, completing project deliverables successfully, and ensuring client needs and practice obligations are met successfully+ Provide engineering expertise with building practice operation to help customers and internal teams with design and implement solutions such as but not limited to: CSPM, cloud workload protection, Security incident detection and response strategies, Threat Intelligence, Continuous Assurance, Security orchestration and automation, SIEM/UEBA platforms, Managed Detection and Response+ Stay educated on new product technology, tangential team capabilities, and other specific offerings or programs emerging within our company and within the Cloud Security industry+ Create training content to internal teams on practice discipline capability, associated offerings, industry positioning and selling strategies**Qualifications**+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience+ Minimum 3+ years client-facing experience working on complex security operations-based projects and solutions services+ Experience delivering complex solutions on time and successfully+ Strong fundamental understanding of technical security solutions and how they address customer risk exposure and solve key use cases+ Proven understanding of security services engagements, service team management+ Experience with Cloud Security solutions. Native and Enterprise.+ Experience defining and/or building automated security process, playbooks and controls+ Expert knowledge of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP's) and how they can impact an organization.+ Comprehensive knowledge of detection engineering+ Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud native tools, process and automation techniques**Required Skills**+ Demonstrate a real passion for team technology solutions design and delivery+ Outstanding written and verbal communication and strong ability to build relationships with customers and partners+ Proactive and self-motivated mindset+ Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member+ Ability to train and disseminate information within an area or operation and work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally+ Ability to influence and lead all aspects of sales cycle and engage appropriate internal and external subject matter experts as needed+ Willingness, drive and winning mindset to compete in customer opportunities+ Poses an ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions+ Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify value in unstructured situations+ Emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization+ Attention to detail, organization, and follow up skills are critical+ Ability and Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitude+ Excellent presentation skills and comfortable "owning the room" in meetings and discussions+ Ability to support competitive selling motions and guidance to field and team**Certifications Required**Certifications below are preferred but not requiredIndustry certifications:+ CISSP+ CIAM+ CISM / CISA / CRISC+ GIAC (GSEC)Vendor Solutions and product specific certifications (or equivalent):+ Palo/Fortinet/Checkpoint+ D9/Prisma Cloud/Wiz+ Cloud naitve security tools(AWS/GCP/Azure)**Unique Requirements**+ Travel to partner sites, customer sites, conferences and SHI offices up to 40% annually+ Candidate will need to have access to an international airport**Additional Information**+ The estimated annual pay range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
