Job Description:

The Receptionist answers incoming telephone calls and greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner. He or she sets the tone for our company by being an outstanding listener and information source and knows all points-of-contact for the facility to promptly assist customers. In addition, he or she performs administrative duties and operates the telephone switchboard for call routing.The ideal candidate for this position has a working knowledge of the industry, strong administrative and organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.RESPONSIBILITIES Greets all customers and employees in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel Provides administrative assistance as needed Administers New Hire paperwork and greets new hires Helps with employee benefits Processes New Hires into ADP and HR Database (Human Resource Information Systems) Processes/Audits MVDB Sales License Ensures that all employee contact information is up-to-date and accurate Provides clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping Assists with problem resolution as required Maintains a professional and positive attitude when dealing with customers, co-workers, and supervisors Maintains a professional relationship with Management Team and employees Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes Performs other duties as assigned Keeps work area cleanQUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required Previous customer service or related experience preferred Excellent telephone skills Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills Excellent communication skills, verbal and writtenBENEFITS Health Insurance Dental 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program Paid Vacation Paid Birthday Off Paid Holidays (6) Short Term and Long Term Disability (Voluntary Benefit) Accident Solution Plan (Voluntary Benefit) Additional Life Insurance (Voluntary Benefit) Cancer Protection Insurance (Voluntary Benefit)
