The Impact Youll Make in this Role As a Training Manager Public Markets, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: * Leading the development of a team of trainers and instructional designers, working with functional Training Director and Public Markets team leaders for strategic planning and staff assignments. * Determining the most effective educational sustainment programs for our public market clients. * Creating tailored learning programs to support the various public market clients and the team members who deliver, developing team priorities for utilization and coverage. * Implementing the training project plans, team onboarding and development plans, and analyzing training effectiveness through observation, feedback, etc. * Ensuring professional, quality and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties and acting in a manner consistent with 3Ms values and ethical standards Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: * Bachelors Degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start)an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND a minimum of fourteen (14) years experience in Training Management in lieu of the Bachelors degree education requirement * Seven (7) years of relevant working experience, including HIM / Coding (IP & OP) and CDI * Five (5) years adult training experience including deployment of adult learning theory, Synchronous and Asynchronous Training, Instructor Led and Self-paced training * Two (2)years experience with Federal Government Health Care including Revenue Cycle Management and/or HIM * One (1) year experience with Federal Government training organizational needs Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: * In depth knowledge of 3M HIS solutions and the implementation process, as well as the external market (competitors, trends, etc.). * Credentials with in-patient and out-patient coding and CDI processes * Experience with claims data, grouping methodologies and other related fundamentals * Excellent leadership and supervisory skills. * Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. * Six sigma, analytics, organizational behavior and other management skills. * Federal Government security clearance credentials.
