yourself? The core of this position is to supervise Independent
Health Insurance Agents who sell Advocate Health Advisors portfolio
of products offered to Medicare Advantage beneficiaries. The
Regional Manager is responsible for achieving assigned
sales/membership growth targets by recruiting new and working with
established local agents in the assigned territory. Required
Qualifications Active Health & Life Insurance License Bachelor's
Degree or equivalent Ability to lead a team of licensed insurance
agents and train them in successful sales techniques, educational
presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building
relationships with communities and medical providers. Demonstrable
public speaking skills Strong aptitude for technology with
proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Requirements Prior
experience in the Medicare industry Community Engagement/Grassroots
experience in marketing Medicare plans in the community Projecting
expected sales volume for existing, new and future products.
Ensures performance goals and objectives are met through planning,
monitoring, and appraising outcomes of established agents.
Implementation of national sales programs utilizing the Advocate
Health Advisors Personalized Marketing Plan to uncover
opportunities for respective team. Growing personal professional
and technical knowledge by attending industry conferences,
educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and
monitoring healthcare-related trends. Establishing personal
networks by participating in professional societies and community
events. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing personal and
team goals. Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
Relationships with some/all insurance carriers. Current
agent/agency relationships a HUGE plus. Experience with physician
marketing and relationships with local/national MSOs and IPAs. Well
versed in Medicare terminology and compliance of Medicare
Advantage, Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplements plans.
Required Qualifications Current state health insurance license.
Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle
liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits. Ability to
stand for long periods of time and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
