The Insurance Specialist provides administrative support for the Business Office, working in conjunction with Admitting and the OR Scheduling Office. Functions in a multi-skilled emvironment Coordinates with the OR Scheduler for accurate posting of surgical cases Verifies primary and secondary insurance coverage Requires minimum of high school diploma or GED. Current or recent experience working in a hospital or medical office required. Computer proficiency. Familiar with medical terminology and ancillary tests.
