CDL-A Truck Driver Hauling Steel Coils & Plates (Conestoga) Location: Regional Multi-State Routes Training Location: Millwood, WV Schedule: Out 5 5.5 Days (4 5 Layovers Weekly) Freight Type: No Touch Freight Equipment: Assigned Truck 48' 53' Conestoga Trailer Position Overview We are seeking professional CDL-A drivers to haul steel coils and plates in a regional operation. This position offers strong weekly miles, competitive per-mile pay, and premium incentives - with no tarping required. Drivers typically run 2,300 2,500 miles per week with 4 8 stops weekly. Compensation & Incentives $0.66 CPM $30.50 per stop Layover Pay: $27.55 Delay Pay: $21.00/hour after 2 hours Weekend Out Incentive: $200 Canada Crossing Incentive (Volunteer Only): $250 Top Earners: Up to $120,000 annually Schedule Details Dispatch days: Sunday or Monday Flexible dispatch times Out 5 to 5.5 days at a time 4 5 layovers per week Equipment & Driver Comfort Assigned trucks 48' 53' Conestoga trailers No tarping required Built-in refrigerator APU Inverters Freight Details Hauling steel coils and plates No touch freight 4 8 stops per week 2,300 2,500 miles weekly average Canada Runs (Optional) Drivers only cross into Canada if they volunteer Enhanced Driver's License required Passport preferred but not required $250 incentive per crossing Requirements Valid CDL-A license Flatbed experience preferred (not required) Must attend training in Millwood, WV Ability to be out 5 5.5 days at a time If you are looking for strong miles, premium incentives, assigned equipment, and consistent freight - this is a high-earning opportunity with predictable scheduling.
