Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods in a timely manner following all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance planning. Plan routes using GPS systems to ensure the most efficient trip. Manage routes and routines to avoid heavy traffic and deliver goods on tight schedules. Keep detailed logs of mileage, service hours, rest periods, and fuel use according to FMCSA and company policies. Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure precise tracking and timely deliveries. Proficiency in operating commercial heavy vehicles. Knowledge of mechanical systems to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong time management and navigation skills. Ability to adhere to tight schedules and manage unexpected delays efficiently. Accurate record-keeping abilities. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean driving record Must pass DOT physical exam and drug screening HAZMAT certification is a plus
