Kitchen Supervisor

The Kitchen Supervisor oversees food preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and monitoring inventory levels.

    Responsibilities:


    • Smile when on-stage
    • Order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.
    • Supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders.
    • Oversee the food preparation and cooking process.
    • Recruit and train kitchen employees in designated stations.
    • Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments.
    • Work with the restaurant manager to price and change menu items.
    • Schedule work shifts for employees.
    • Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.
    • Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.


      Educational/Vocational Preparation:

      A High School Diploma/GED is required.



      Qualifications:


      • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
      • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-management abilities.
      • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
      • Prior food service experience desired
      • Willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays
      • Physical stamina to stand on feet throughout shift
      • Able to lift 25-50 pounds
      • This position involves high social skills and the ability to perform work under pressure.
      • Good oral and written communication skills
      • Ability to maintain a pleasant, cheerful, and helpful demeanor
      • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
