**The Opportunity**
Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time Housekeepers to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As a Housekeeper, you will dust and clean rooms and common areas as well as restock supplies, deliver items to guests' rooms, and move a cleaning cart of cleaning supplies and equipment to assigned service areas within the facility.
Minimum pay rate: $13.00 / hour

**Responsibilities**
+ Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures.
+ Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
+ Replenish supplies per housekeeping procedures.
+ Conduct walkarounds of assigned areas to ensure the facility meets housekeeping standards.
+ Interact on occasion with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
+ Assists guests as needed.
+ Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor.
+ Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis.
+ Ensure sanitation guidelines are maintained.
+ Ensure all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean, and organized.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.
+ Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
+ Ability to work quickly under pressure.
+ Ability to follow directions and instructions.
+ Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
**Physical Requirements**
+ Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of shift.
+ Frequent climbing of stairs.
+ Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.
+ Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing or washing.
