  • AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator)
  • Left ventricular assist devices
  • TAVR
  • Vent Management
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Insertion of IABP
  • General Vascular surgery (Open, Endovascular)
  • Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal
  • Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral/iliac (Fem-pop)
  • Endarterectomy (Carotid, Renal, Subclavian steal)

• Board: Certified (BC required)
• Licenses: OH license or Universal License (IMLC)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Fellowship: Required

• Provide on-call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery service
• Perform inpatient rounding and manage acute volume/BP issues
• Attend on-site orientation prior to start of coverage
• Perform coronary artery bypass, valve repair, lung resections, and other required procedures
• Insert central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters as needed
