Job Description:
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine
technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary
team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive
drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, perform
patient imaging procedures, ensure radiation safety and quality
control, and document procedures in the medical record. Minimum
Requirements An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine
technology or equivalent education. State license and certification
to practice nuclear medicine in the state of employment, if
required. Current BLS certification. 2 years' experience as a
nuclear medicine technologist. Current certification from a
recognized credentialing body (for example, ARRT(N) or NMTCB). This
is required prior to start. Experience with routine nuclear
medicine imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols.
Experience working in a hospital environment, including exposure to
emergency department and inpatient imaging workflows. Ability to
follow facility-specific onboarding and credentialing checklists.
Client may require additional certifications prior to start.
Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Days. Shift
hours: 0600-1800. Shift days: Days. Orientation: Biweekly on
Wednesdays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered
for travel assignments. Location Highlights Beckley, WV offers
outdoor recreation and regional cultural attractions within easy
driving distance. Beckley is near the New River Gorge National Park
and Preserve, approximately 35 miles northwest and offering rock
climbing, whitewater rafting, and hiking. The city sits about 50
miles from the state capital, Charleston, for additional dining and
entertainment options, and is adjacent to local attractions such as
the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine and the Raleigh County Memorial
Airport within short driving times. The area supports a suburban
and small-city lifestyle with access to outdoor adventure,
community events, and seasonal festivals within a 30- to 60-minute
