Physical Therapist Location: Hilltop, WV Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $2,400 to $2,600 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Physical Therapist (PT) – Position Description Location: Hilltop, WV Job Type: Travel Setting: (Outpatient, Acute Care, SNF, Home Health — tell me and I’ll tailor it) Position Summary The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing skilled therapeutic interventions to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability. The PT works collaboratively with physicians, rehabilitation staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in compliance with Pennsylvania state practice regulations. Key Responsibilities Patient Evaluation & Treatment Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to determine functional deficits and patient needs Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence?based practices Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy, functional training, and modalities Measure progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, mobility, and safety techniques Clinical Documentation & Compliance Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to professional practice standards Collaboration & Communication Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other team members Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers Participate in care conferences and team meetings as needed Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license (in good standing) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in the specific setting (outpatient, acute, SNF, home health) preferred Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient?interaction skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits Completion Bonus and Flexible Start.
