Mammography Tech Location: South Charleston, WV Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,981 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 76611641 Shift: 8, 10H Days, Nights The need at the facility is from 8a-4p, however, leaving time would vary around Description: Unit : Radiology - MammographyGeneral Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLSCerts/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT(R)(M)How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Mobile mammography unit "Bonnie's Bus"- The average driving distance from South Charleston expected for Bonnie's Bus is about 70-85 miles or 1.5 - 2 hours. To break it down:- Several sites are within 30 miles- Most sites are within 30-60 miles (45-75 minutes)- About 10 sites are within 60-100 miles (1.5-2.25 hours)-A handful of sites are over 100 miles (2.5-4 hours)If they need to stay overnight, their shift would end when they leave the Bus to go to their hotel. The clinician will work directly with the hospital for the hotel coverage if needed. Their home base is at Thomas Hospital. They have a "chase" car the mammo technologist will drive to follow the bus.
