working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Charleston,
West Virginia, 25301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN
experience required. 1 year of in-specialty experience required.
License: WV or Compact RN License required. Pending license
acceptable. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS required (must be
AHA). Must-Have: Strong IMC or ICU experience. Experience with
interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with
ventilator management. Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse in an Intermediate Care Unit. The nurse will work
night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekdays and every other weekend
are required. The unit comprises 8 IMC beds and 10 observation
beds, staffed separately. Patients include those with respiratory
issues, DKA, arrhythmias, post-operative kidney transplant
patients, and interventional neurological patients. Capable of
caring for telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs as
well as the renal population. Ratios are 3:1 for IMC and 4:1 for
medical/surgical patients. Float to other units may be required to
meet facility needs. Block schedule requests can be discussed
during the interview. No call requirements are needed for this
position. Documentation of flu vaccination is required unless
exempt for medical reasons. Covid vaccination is not required.
Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles
from the facility to submit. Insufficient documentation will result
