Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Cannot start until April 19th - no March start dates available • Must live more than 50 miles from facility - local candidates not accepted • Required to wear black scrubs or Cabell T-shirt instead of scrub top • Must change into provided surgery scrubs when reporting to Surgery department • Chart using Cerner electronic health record system • Complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract • Complete 4-6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation and annually • Modules vary by specialty and are recorded by facility • Free parking available in both parking lot and parking garage • Travel pairs not accepted for this position Facility: This healthcare facility is a 330-bed short term acute care hospital that serves as a major teaching hospital and is a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH).
