The Position - The Chief Nursing Officer will oversee all nursing operations at this 173-bed community hospital, ensuring consistent compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. - Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this leader will oversee a team of six direct reports and 288 FTEs. - This leader will mentor and develop nursing leadership to support future succession planning, foster a culture of excellence and collaboration across the team, and play a pivotal role in ensuring quality and performance improvement initiatives are achieved and sustained. - Ideal candidates will bring a strong clinical nursing and quality background, demonstrating a hands-on, visible leadership style with a positive and collaborative approach. A commitment to quality and process improvement initiatives will be essential for success in this role. Requirements - BSN required and Master's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or Business required. DNP highly preferred. - Active RN license required. - Minimum of five years of progressive nursing leadership experience required; prior experience serving in a Chief Nursing Officer role within an acute care setting strongly preferred.
