Locum Tenens Cardiology - Inpatient Consults Only, Level 1 Trauma Flexible Schedule | Inpatient Consults Only | 1-Year Commitment Preferred We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis near Widen, West Virginia. This position offers the chance to provide high-quality inpatient cardiac care within a dynamic Level I trauma center. Position Highlights Schedule Options: Monday???Friday or 7on/7off Shift: 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM Coverage: 2 weeks per month Contract Length: 1-year commitment preferred Patient Load: ~10 adult patients/day Setting: Inpatient consults only ??? no follow-ups, no ICU, no call EMR: Cerner Facility: 1,078-bed hospital with strong support staff (NPs/PAs) Requirements Board Certified in Cardiology Active state license or eligibility via IMLC DEA, BLS, and ACLS required Ability to perform cardiograms and nuclear stress tests Clean background; pre-application approval required Credentialing: Approx. 60 days This long-term locum opportunity allows you to practice at a respected medical institution while focusing on meaningful patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment.
