to find a qualified Rehab RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25301!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. At least
1 year of experience in specialty required. Charge experience
preferred. License: WV or Compact RN License required.
Certifications: BLS required (must be AHA). Acute care rehab
certification preferred. Must-Have: Experience with patient
diagnoses, including SCI, TBI, stroke, amputation, neuromuscular
disorders, and severe deconditioning. Description: The Registered
Nurse will work in a rehabilitation unit with 24 beds. The patient
population includes those with cerebrovascular disease, traumatic
brain injury, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and neurological
diseases. Each patient has a care team assigned, which includes a
physiatrist, nurse practitioner, nurses, therapists, and a social
worker. The team collaborates to create individualized care plans
for each patient. Therapy is provided for 3 hours each day, Monday
through Friday. The average length of stay is around 2 weeks. The
nurse will float within scope to meet facility needs as required.
Every other weekend is required. No call requirement exists.
Patient ratio during days is 1:4-5, and during nights is 1:5-6.
First-time travelers are accepted. Applicants must have a permanent
address greater than 100 miles from the facility to apply.
