ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 8-hour day shifts with staggered start times: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM • Required call coverage starting at 3:30 PM until 7:00 AM • Every 3rd weekend requirement (full weekend coverage) • Every 3rd day of the week on-call responsibility • 30-minute call response time required • 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required • Prior travel experience highly preferred • Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) • Must possess valid driver's license (copy required with submission) • 50-mile radius rule applies • Responsibilities include patient sedation, circulating, prep work, IV placement, and meeting all patient care needs • Work with diagnostic and interventional procedures, PCI, TEEs, balloon pumps, pacers, event recorders, and defibrillators • Document in EPIC system pre and post procedures • Work in 3-room cardiac cath lab with teams of 2 RAD techs and 2 RNs each • Handle average of 13 cases per day • Light blue scrubs provided, must provide own shoes • 1-2 day unit-specific orientation provided • BSN not required • Willing to wait for license verification Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory featuring 3 state-of-the-art procedure rooms with dedicated teams. The department maintains 24/7 on-call coverage with interventional cardiology services available after hours, utilizing advanced equipment including Vocano and Impella systems along with EPIC electronic medical records.
