working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Charleston, West Virginia, 25301! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum
2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year of
experience in specialty. License: WV or Compact RN License
required; pending license accepted. Certifications: BLS and ACLS
required. Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of RN experience. - RN
license (WV or Compact), pending license accepted. - BLS and ACLS
certifications. Description: The Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit
consists of 37 beds. It serves a diverse adult patient population.
All beds have monitoring capabilities for varying levels of
illness. The patient population ranges from uncomplicated cases to
sub-critical conditions, including post-operative transplant
patients. Nights shifts available, from 7 PM to 7 AM, including
weekdays and every other weekend. The RN will be assigned to a
nurse-patient ratio of 1:5. Floating may be required within scope
to meet facility needs. Experience with patients requiring cardiac
monitoring is preferred. Patient diagnoses may include COPD,
cardiac issues, chest pain, diabetes, overflow neuro, overflow
ortho, and post-surgical care. Preferred experience includes care
for kidney transplant patients. Interdisciplinary support is
provided by IV teams, and the unit utilizes monitoring
technologies. Special procedures include central line draws, chest
tube management, and administering various drips. Charting is
performed using a specific electronic health record system. This is
a short-term acute care facility, classified as a Level 1 Trauma
Center. The unit is committed to high-quality patient care and
teamwork among healthcare professionals. Candidates must live more
than 100 miles from the facility to be considered. Weekend
requirements involve working every other weekend. 5 Benefits of
