Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights, rotating - Employment Type: Travel beds/trauma bays 44 Beds (3 Trauma bays Fast track do direct bedding, having 1 triage room/nurse whent they go to triage mode. A - low acuity, B - higher acuity 1-2, Vertical 3 55 & below w/ belly pain gets work-up, lower acuity in POD C, A B SOB, psych ,alterme CP Psych/seclusion rooms 4 behav, 6 intake rooms, & 3 (-) airflow rooms Security metal detector out front monitored, beh rooms all video monitored, a guard who rounds patients per day Varies - average about 135 (176, 150) Ratios 1 to 4 in A&B C based on acuity could have 1 to 5 Required Certifications "BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC (Pals or ENPC) TNCC is required.
