ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 5x8 hour shifts with weekday and weekend on-call duties • 40 guaranteed hours per week • Self-scheduled call requirements including weeknights and weekends on rotating schedule • Work in 30-bed Operating Room Unit for pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years • Must have both scrub and circulate experience • Minimum 2 years RN experience required - no first timers accepted • Travel experience preferred • Must have worked within a pediatric setting and women's specialty • Robotic experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) • Skills required: Pediatric General OR, General OR, Circulate, Scrub • Skills preferred: IV Start • Must live more than 75 miles from facility • WV or Compact license required - pending license acceptable • Wear bright blue scrubs • Use Cerner charting system, Accudose, and SBAR documentation • Complete 16 hours of orientation • Complete 2-4 hours of non-billable modules prior to start • Minimum 2 manager or charge references within past 2 years required Facility: This healthcare facility is a short-term acute care hospital that serves as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The facility is a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). The operating room unit provides comprehensive surgical services for pediatric patients with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
