Preferred Description: The position involves working as an
Operating Room RN First Assist. Responsibilities include providing
surgical assistance in a pediatric operating room setting.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
Experience in a pediatric setting is highly desirable. The role
involves call duties on some weekdays and weekends. Self-scheduling
will include weeknight and weekend shifts. Preferred candidates
will have experience with robotic surgical procedures. BLS
certification is required for this position. Candidates must
possess a valid active license. Submission of references and
verification of credentials is necessary. Communication skills and
teamwork are essential for this role. The environment requires
knowledge in aseptic technique and patient safety practices.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are important for the
position. Candidates should have experience in general OR,
circulatory, and scrub skills. This role does not accept first-time
travelers. Candidates must comply with required vaccinations,
including a flu vaccine unless medically exempt. All documentation
must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment.
