Job Description The emergency room operates with a total of 44 beds, including 3 trauma bays and a fast track for direct bedding. The RN will work in an environment that manages a significant volume of patients, with an average of about 135 daily visits. The role requires proficiency in various emergency conditions, focusing on both low and high acuity patient care. Responsibilities - Assess and triage patients in the emergency department. - Provide emergency care for various conditions including chest pain, altered mental status, and abdominal pain. - Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to deliver optimal patient care. - Monitor patients and manage documentation through the EMR system, utilizing Epic. - Participate in team-based care and maintain efficient workflow in the emergency department. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications. - Experience working in a high-volume emergency department preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
