be considered. This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse
experienced in step-down care, providing vital support to patients
requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing skills. This
contract role offers the chance to work night shifts with rotating
weekends, focusing on delivering high-quality care in a dynamic
setting. Location: Gilmer, TX Gilmer is a welcoming community known

beautiful region, it offers a comfortable living environment with
access to outdoor activities and local amenities. Schedule/Hours:
Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Rotating weekends No call responsibility
Float as needed No 48-hour shifts or block scheduling
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to step-down
patients with a 1:5 patient ratio Monitor and assess patient
conditions closely to ensure timely interventions Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Maintain
accurate documentation and uphold facility standards Use emergency
software systems efficiently Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in
progressive care unit (PCU) or step-down nursing Certification in
BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross
accepted) Ability to work night shifts and weekends Strong clinical
assessment skills and patient management experience This contract
