(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Surgical
Technologist opportunity is available for a skilled professional
with expertise in multiple surgical areas. This contract position
requires a minimum 13-week commitment and is located in West Union,
Iowa, with primary responsibilities in a dynamic surgical setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience: Completion of an accredited
Surgical Technologist program Surgical Technologist Certification
preferred Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN,
Podiatry, Urology, and Dental procedures Compliance with State of
Iowa mandatory reporter training American Heart Association BLS
certification Ability to remain within 30 minutes of the facility
when on-call Schedule and Responsibilities: Standard 8-hour shifts,
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible slight
variations depending on surgical caseload (start times may be as
early as 6:00 a.m.) On-call rotation approximately one night every
two-week pay period Weekend on-call approximately every 5th to 6th
weekend Participation in holiday on-call rotation This role
involves supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties,
ensuring sterile techniques and equipment readiness, and providing
critical assistance during multiple types of surgical procedures.
