Schedule Shifts are 12 hours (7p-7a). Expect to work every other weekend for travelers. Job Description The Medsurg and Cardiac Observation unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients. The position requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to read telemetry strips. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient conditions, including pre/post catheterization and those with cardiac conditions. Administer medications and treatment, including hanging set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone drips. Perform EKGs, bladder scans, FSBS, and vital sign checks. Support patient activities of daily living (ADLs). Work collaboratively with the clinical team to manage patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license required. Certifications in BLS & ACLS are mandatory. Experience in reading telemetry strips and administering cardiac medications is essential. Familiarity with TR Bands is considered a strong plus.
