ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts, rotating every other weekend. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a Cardiac Telemetry unit, managing cases including post-heart catheterizations, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and arrhythmias. The nurse will work collaboratively with unit staff to ensure high-quality care and efficient patient flow through discharges and admissions. Responsibilities - Monitor patient conditions including vital signs and cardiac rhythms. - Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips (primarily Heparin). - Conduct admissions and discharges, ensuring comprehensive patient education and documentation. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and address clinical needs. - Assist with EKGs and other diagnostic procedures as necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Active RN license. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Experience with cardiac telemetry and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate as part of a team is essential.
