Job Description:
CAMC Plateau Medical Center, part of the nationally recognized
Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Health System, is seeking a
Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our
dedicated and growing surgical team in Oak Hill, WV. This is an
exceptional opportunity to practice broad-based general surgery in
a supportive, community-centered hospital environment backed by the
resources of a leading academic medical system. Key
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general surgical care
including both elective and emergency procedures. Participate in
hospital call coverage on a shared rotation schedule. Collaborate
with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and
ancillary staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory
standards. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute
to the ongoing advancement of surgical services within the
facility. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completion of an accredited
General Surgery residency program. Board Certified or Board
Eligible in General Surgery. Eligible for unrestricted West
Virginia medical licensure. Excellent clinical judgment,
