Diagnostic Radiologist Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens (contract/travel) Location: Onsite hospital in Charleston, WV (zip code 25301) Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Start Date: November 24, 2025 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 On-Call: None Weekend Coverage: None Estimated Weekly Salary: $6,420 - $7,610 USD per week Radiologist Qualifications Board Certification in Radiology (required) Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility via IMLC (required) DEA Registration (required) Proficiency in infant/pediatric barium enemas (required) Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology Radiology Job Responsibilities Interpret and report on imaging modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Fluoroscopy Perform light interventional radiology procedures Conduct biopsies (thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal) using CT and ultrasound guidance Perform drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts) Conduct diagnostic lumbar punctures and myelograms Perform arthrograms and joint injections (knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder) Maintain high daily volume expectations (90-100 cases per 8-hour shift) Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care and clinical support Join our healthcare team in Charleston, WV and take the next step in your radiology career.
