Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CT experience preferred License: Must have valid state license Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Experience with GE CT scanners, Cerner, and/or Fuji PACS Description: The manager is looking for a traveler experienced with GE CT scanners. Experience in Cerner and/or Fuji PACS is a plus. First-time travelers may be considered if they meet the experience requirements. The shift schedule includes 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The daily caseload per tech may vary. Weekends are required, with coverage every other weekend. There are no call or floating requirements, and the schedule is blocked. The facility is a Level I trauma center and stroke center. The CT department is fast-paced and equipped with two GE 128 slice scanners. Candidates should have experience in at least one of the following areas: Scanning on GE CT scanners, using Fuji PACS, or experience with Cerner. The typical patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 80-100 visits. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Special procedures performed in this unit require experience with trauma cases. Successful candidates will demonstrate skills in various CT procedures.
