Physician - Pediatric Intensivist Position Type: Full Time Pediatric Intensivist Opportunity in the cultural, recreational, and business capital of the Appalachian Mountains We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist to join our well-established practice at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Women and Children's Hospital in beautiful Charleston, West Virginia. About the Hospital CAMC is one of the largest health systems in West Virginia and CAMC Women and Children's Hospital is the first free standing children's hospital in the state. Home to the region's largest and busiest Level III NICU and Level I PICU, CAMC Women and Children's Hospital is the recipient of ARK (Always Ready for Kids) recognition by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Services. Teaching site for medical students and residents ~ Out-of-house call with pediatric residents in-house 24/7 ~2 full-time and 1 part-time physician team with all and holiday coverage divided equally ~ Daily multidisciplinary rounds with Residents, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Nutrition Services, Physical Therapy and Child Life to provide patient/family centered care ~ Consultative services provided by pediatric sub-specialists representing more than 30 specialties, including pulmonary medicine, surgery, neurology, nephrology, infectious disease, hematology-oncology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and cardiology ~ J1 Visa sponsorship available It offers a lively academic environment, outdoor recreational opportunities, and a diverse economy.
