Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Rad Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 or 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be via American Heart Association) Must-Have: Clean license with no prior suspensions Description: The position involves working in a level 1 trauma center. The role includes providing care for a wide variety of patients. You will be responsible for doing emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient imaging. You will assist in numerous surgical cases including orthopedic and neurology procedures. The work requires proficiency in using C-arms and portable imaging equipment. Experience with PACS is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates are expected to be available for shifts that include nights and weekends. Flu vaccination is required unless a documented medical exemption is provided. Documentation must include a work history profile and references. Prior probationary actions on a license will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have a permanent address that meets distance requirements from the facility. Successful candidates must complete specific training and modules prior to starting.
