Must-Have: Candidates must have a permanent address greater than
100 miles from the facility to submit. Candidates should be willing
to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates
should be open to accommodating blocked schedule requests.
Candidates must provide a candidate profile, specialty specific
skills checklist, and references. Description: This is a position
for a Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse. The nurse will work
the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires working
weekdays and every other weekend. Candidates will be floated to
meet facility needs within their scope of practice. Patient care
will include those with CVA, TBI, epidural and subdural hematomas,
seizure disorders, and spinal cord injuries. The unit has a total
of 26 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5. All personnel must
receive the flu vaccine unless they have a documented medical
exemption. Candidates are required to provide a clean license
verification prior to submission. Certification from the American
Heart Association is mandatory for required certifications.
Previous probationary actions on licenses will be considered on a
case-by-case basis. This is a short-term acute care position in a
Level 1 trauma center. Travelers will receive free parking. Modules
tied to specialty training will be provided prior to start and must
be completed.
