Job Description Holzer Meigs, Gallipolis, and Jackson EDs are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider. Providers must commit to a minimum of 5 shifts a month, with a preference for 8-10 shifts. You are encouraged to submit your provider to all three sites. Shifts and Volume:- Shifts: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. - 8 a.m.- Annual Volume: 18,527 (15-20 patients per shift per provider)- Total Number of Beds: 11- Fast Track in ED: Yes- Percent of Total Hospital Admissions Received from ED: 17%- Percent of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: 17%- Percent of ED Patients Transferred per Day: Less than 7% Requirements:- Must be available for nights and weekends- Ohio State License required; will accept IMLC with proof within 3 business days of job acceptance- COVID-19 Vaccination - Required- Must be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM; other certifications not accepted- Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP- Must have 2 years of recent experience Additional Information:- No trauma level designation- EMR: All Scripts/Paragon- Will oversee APPs- ED Physician writes orders for admissions- Deliveries sent directly to Labor and Delivery- Consultants available: Radiologist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist, Hematologist/Oncologist Submission Guidelines:- All submission requirements must be noted at the time of name clear- Name clear process is not completed until the client's full review of the candidate's presentation.
